Tonight, Grandmother Moon is growing quiet.
As her light slowly disappears from the night sky, the waning crescent invites us to release, rest and make space.
You do not need to carry everything with you into the next cycle.
Find somewhere quiet. If you have a candle, light it. Sit beneath the night sky or somewhere you can feel still.
Take three slow breaths.
Think of one thing you are ready to leave behind — a worry, a fear, a habit, a thought, or something that has been weighing heavily on you.
Say quietly:
“I release what no longer belongs with me.
I carry forward the lessons, not the weight.
I make space for what is yet to come.”
Sit in stillness for a moment.
Look toward Grandmother Moon, whether you can see her or not, and remember that even when her light almost disappears, she is still there.

Thank you, Ningimpi Withi — Grandmother Moon.
Thank you for watching over us, our ancestors and those yet to come.
Until we meet beneath your light again.
